Mark Malmkar

Mark is a railfan whose career began as a teacher of Agricultural Education in three Nebraska high schools. He also worked as an agronomist, a farmer, a plant manager for a farm machinery manufacturer, and a tool and die maker.

Mark claims to be a recovering “gearhead” who once owned dozens of cars. He now manufactures model train parts in addition to writing about trains and cars.
